About me
Hello my name is Frank. Welcome to westmeru eco coffee located in Tengeru,Arusha Tanzania 2km from tengeru market to the village.The coffee tour walking is a day trip,and can also be done in a couple of hours, if you are in hurry. Many people like to do this tour before or after safari, or before travelling home with their evening flight.
You will visit local organic coffee farms in Nkoanrua village,Home of Meru tribe.Firstly our local guide will show you around the village and tell you it's history. You will also see domestic animals and birds (Ng'ombe and Kuku).As you walk after to the Coffee farm but also where people grow banana, maize, beans, vegetables and fruits.
The last stop is our coffee roasting factory. Here, you can taste freshly roasted coffee while you see the process of the roasting and grinding coffee with motivation songs. But after a cup of coffee you are invited to a big Tanzanian local lunch in the garden. You can taste chapatti, ugali, roasted banana, rice.
